まだ新車状態ということを差し引いてもアクセルレスポンスの悪さや低中速域のトルク不足は2.5Lと思えないようなエンジンフィールです。データは徹底的にDBWデータを見直し2.0LのM/Tおも凌ぐレスポンスに変更し併せてMPISを同時装着することにより相乗効果がプラスされました。EJ固有の2000~2500rpmのトルク抜けも完全に解消され、お約束ではないですが排気臭もなくなり、水がバンバンはき出す完全燃焼化に近づきました。MPISを装着するとCo・Noxが低減され触媒自体の仕事量が軽減され長持ちします。BPレガシーなどは3年すると触媒が劣化し車検既定値ぎりぎりになります。触媒交換は高価なパーツですから早い時期にMPIS装着を推奨します。パフォーマンスを含めれば後付けの触媒交換よりも費用対効果は高いです。
