近々の車輌はECU(DME)で目標空燃比処理がされています。このため外部疑似信号装置を装着するとECU内とデータに整合性がとれなくなりコンディションを崩します。さらに、目標空燃比が基準になるためMAPを変更しても整合性がとれていなければオリジナルの状態に戻してしまう想定もあります。故に点火や燃料MAPの変更は意味がないのです。一部のDMEは目標空燃比自体の値も変更できますが(当社は競技用の仕様で一部の車種は変更しています。)近々のECUは変更するのが中々やっかいです。下図はある車種の目標空燃比に対するブロック構成図になります。
