ＯＢＤⅡコードについて About OBD Ⅱ code

市販品でＯＢＤから車輌情報をリアルタイムに見ることが出来るパーツがよく売られています。その中には自己診断コードまで見られる製品もありますが自己診断のコードが見られてもそのコードが何なのかわからなくては意味がありません。専用の自己診断機はコードと内容を表記してくれますが市販品ではそこまで多機能なものはありません。
ＯＣＤのコードを見られる製品でＯＢＤコードを基本を理解しているとエンジンチェックが点灯したときにパニックにならない対策にもなります。ＯＢＤコードは５桁で表記されます。
たとえばＰ０１００というコードであれば「  Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction　」という意味でエアフロメーターの異常コードになります。
５桁の先頭は４分類に区分けされます。

Ｃ＝駆動関連
５桁の４桁目は２分類に区分けされます。
０＝標準コード
１＝カーメーカー特有コード
５桁の３桁目以降は７分類に区分けされます。

３＝Ignition
４＝Auxiliary emission
５＝Vehicle speed & idle control
６＝Computer & output circuit
７＝Transmission
